Girl Talk - Project Inside Out Camp Speaker (July 2009)

I was really excited to bring cupcakes, bags of icing, and pupcakes to the Girl Talk Project Inside Out camp. I told them about how I started playing with icing and then they got to decorate their own cupcake. I had tons of fun and I think they enjoyed it, too!

Seussian Therapy... quite effective!

I was a little nervous about how to translate the bold, bright zany characters of Dr. Seuss into icing. I envisioned lots of patterns... polka dots, stripes, plaids. But, I wasn't sure if I could pull of the cat in the hat, the fish or Thing 1 and Thing 2. Well, a little sketching and practicing on wax paper, gave me the confidence to give it a go. These were made for my friends', Amanda and Rob, baby shower. Their nursery is AH-MAZING. :)

Babycakes for boys and girls!

What are little boys made of? Instead of snails, shells, and puppy dog tails, how about cupcakes, baseball cookies, and marshmallows? And, of course, sugar and spice and all things nice works for our little baby girls. Introducing the Babycakes for boys and girls.
